Firmware Version 4.6.0
RSP-Z2
This release adds the ability to manage system settings over Unity (i.e., from a Z-Series Controller), adds the ability to listen to audio in the system from your web browser, and several smaller enhancements.
New Feature / Improvement List
Unity System Settings Management
Many of the system settings can now be configured over Unity from a Z-Series Controller, such as network settings, SIP settings, and certificates. The ability to do this or not is configurable from this system's Unity settings page - i.e., you may control whether or not the management system is permitted to make these changes.
Audio in the Browser
Individual users may now listen to any of the audio in the system using their web browser. This capability is set on the individual user account's configuration. Turning this on will create a resource for the user that can then be used in the system like any other resource. There is also a new button at the bottom of the page to manage your (and other) browser audio, plus user permissions to control audio sessions.
Other Minor Improvements
There have been several other minor improvements, including:
· New "Compact" resource size (select in the individual user preferences)
· Local ports can now be displayed on the right hand side information are to help during configuration
· Individual user preferences are now configured from the right hand side information area (to allow for more options)
Numerous Fixes
As with any update, problems have been fixed and mitigated as appropriate.
