In order to interface with an LMR network, JPS gateways require the use of a donor radio. This is a radio that is connected to the JPS gateway, which is used by the gateway to receive and transmit audio for the LMR network that donor radio is participating in.
The JPS gateway connects to the donor radio using one of many available radio interface cables. JPS engineers have designed and created over 300 different interface cables to work with JPS gateways. We have a searchable list of available interface cables.
If you cannot find an interface cable for the donor device you're looking for, please contact us or fill out this form, and we'll be happy to help you.
